Pros

Friendly coworkers and management. Fantastically exciting vision for revolutionizing additive manufacturing, and a good opportunity to work on cutting edge technology. For some positions, work life balance is very nice.

Cons

Management does not know how to manage long-term engineering projects and wastes obscene amounts of time and money on wild goose chases that do not pan out. They penny pinch on salary and benefits in order to fund development of projects that go absolutely nowhere. Also cannot trust management to correctly handle basic things, like paying people on time, providing you with the correct contracts to sign, or even answering important emails on time.

Pros

Business has grown tremendously in last few years. Wish I had known more about the technology to be able to contribute better.

Cons

Company is a startup. Less stability. But if that life is for you, then by all means its a great opportunity.

Pros

As an intern I learned so much about the 3D printing industry, and just how truly complex the process can be. The software was very easy to use and the work environment was laid back. David was a nice guy and helped me with problems whenever he could. The internship gave me a lot of time to just tinker with the printers and really learn how it all works.

Cons

The learning curve was very big. The further you dove into the process the more you realized just how complex it is to make a good print. Management wasn't always around to answer questions, but he was available almost always for me to text and ask him questions that way. Besides that, you basically had to learn a decent amount on your own. While this sounds daunting, it really just prepared me for the engineering problem solving method by trial and error.
