Pros
Reasonable amount of autonomy given, although that started to change when I resigned. Also, the amount of autonomy depends on the boss than the culture of entire organization Timely salary Decent learning opportunities for a fresher in some roles
Cons
Awful HR policies. Not at all employee friendly in that sense. Lots of unproductive employees, especially in HR. Long working hours in plant, need to stay for 12-16 hours for most of the days, mostly for needless reasons Company has seemed to form an unofficial cartel with at least some of its competitors. Hence, almost zero opportunities to switch in the same sector. Also, experience of LPG plant is not quite useful in manufacturing in other sectors, so difficult to switch in other sectors too Rampant politics; many employees mail more rather than actually working because that keeps them in good stead in the eyes of their respective bosses. Utterly disrespectful in their conduct at times Poor increment in salaries in general for lower level employees Employees are often transferred arbitrarily, without any consultation. Less scope for promotion and growth in job No transparency. Company's performance report, future plans are not shared with employees. Career growth trajectory, training needs not discussed with employees. No exercise carried out to determine employee satisfaction or take his feedback about working environment
