A lot of experience learned. Friendly people and working environment. Office location is good and safe.

Most people work long hours and hard working. Need weekend work sometimes. International nature requires some weekend and/or night working.

SMW is a Good starting place. It is relatively easy to move into different areas and learn all the aspects of manufacturing, quality, testing... Since it is a small size company, it is very reactive and upper management is not far from the engineer making suggestions, requests, easier to be heard.

As in many small size companies, employees free time is often treated as company time (week end or holiday travel for business…). The work environment can be very stressful due to lack of senior engineers / managers. The proximity of the upper management / owners can create conflicting requests. Compensation is ok but could be improved and made fair in regards to the work.
