Pros
- Great opportunities for advancement. Started as a junior programmer, now management in the company. - Steady reviews. Always know where I stand. Fair warning system. - Profit Sharing. They are very open to employees coming up with ideas and then having a profit share. Think that is awesome. - Management aren't disconnected. They have done the low jobs. It's nice because they understand why some things are difficult to do. I like the fact the owner actually can help out with programming. I've never had a "micromanagement" vibe from him. When I need help, he is their to show me how to do it. How many managers actually care like that or can even do that? - Open door policy: I can always talk to one of the managers. - Pay Raises for merit. They are very transparent about it and stuck to their word. A coworker of mine received 3 raises last year.
Cons
- Benefits aren't what they are in a large company. They have worked with me on extra Paid Time off, education credits. Think they are looking into more robust benefits soon.
