Pros

If you enjoy being miserable at a job - this is the spot for you! 12+ hour work days and weekend coverage. Mediocre benefits. A really nice office that someone was definitely fired for dumping too much money into.

Cons

When you have down time, it's nice to talk to real people about things you have in common. At SRS be as phony and fake to fit a boring person mold, if not start looking for a new job. Are you looking for a job with longevity? Don't go here as the company may have 1-2 years of life left. And if the company doesn't fold, they will find a way to get rid of you if you deserve more money. Everyone is trying to make their teams look good but mess up each other's agendas which causes angry clients to leave. The product is so terrible and keeps getting worse as no one looks to fix the problems with it. Everyone just wants to add more garbage and not look into what's wrong with it... Great plan! Hackathon's? Why don't you try fix-a-thons and see who can resolve the employee complaints fastest? All of the smart management got out. Now you have a bunch of people managing other people who all have no idea what they are doing. Your team will have at least 3 people mangers and some "senior" employees who act like they are in charge. Management even has their own personal snitch who stabs EVERYONE in the back.

Pros

There is a lot of positive outlook for SRS. Things have really been changing for the better, and I think SRS has a bright future ahead. The people are great to work with and I have never asked someone for help and have been told "that's not my job". Every time I need help from one of my co-workers they are there to help or at the very least guide me in the right direction. The company is truly dedicated to ensuring it's employees are happy. People might feel different, but in my opinion it is a great work environment. I feel comfortable and relaxed while at work. Not to mention the relaxed dress code! Sure there is stress at times, but there's always going to be some stress at any job you go to. With the team you have here you can definitely succeed.

Cons

It is true, there are way too many meetings! The good news is, management has been working on reducing the amount of meetings. Also, only reason I am putting 4 stars for work/life balance is because the days can be long sometimes. I can attribute this to the amount of emails you can receive a day and going through them all.
