Pros

The regular staff here are lovely. They work hard and are kind to each other. The senior team are awful.

Cons

The most senior staff here do not take care of their staff. Staff continuously raise concerns about burnout and are told to 'fill their cup' before they try to help others. Senior staff do not see this as a fundamental flaw in planning and decision making and instead see it as a superficial wellbeing issue. If you are from a marginalised group I would stay well away. They are not good at understanding how work can/should look for disabled people and everything related to this is pushed through basic HR processes with no training for managers or supportive managerial processes.

Pros

Truly values driven, in a way that feels authentic and genuine. Good people doing good work with a shared purpose.

Cons

Quite chaotic and confused leadership. Sometimes it feels like they want to keep everyone happy and on-side at all times, but in doing so often fail to take meaningful action or give clear direction and make everyone unhappy as a result. Often shy away from taking positions on the basis that they want to avoid being seen as political, but this has definitely led to an over-cautiousness in some areas which can hamper the kind of clarity of vision which is needed to drive this kind of work, and has left certain marginalised groups out of the domestic abuse conversation.
