Pros

I really have no pros, other than it was easy to get hired. But this is because the turnover is so high. Just in the 9 months I was there, probably about 10-12 employees came and left.

Cons

Grueling work, low-pay, inconsistent scheduling, inconsiderate and inept management. Safeway is owned by Albertsons, which seems to only be concerned with their bottom line at the expense of paying employees a living wage. This, of course, has led to high turnover and poor morale in the workforce. One of the worst jobs I've ever had.

Pros

Friendly and helpful colleagues, weekly pay and flexible schedule

Cons

When it is busy, it is very busy. Lunch/Break may get pushed back or even denied in extreme cases because there is no one to cover for you.
