      Pros

      Safeway is a relatively secure place to work because, hey, people gotta eat. In a way I'm very glad to be here in these tough times.

      Cons

      I'm dumber for having worked here. The organization is extremely top heavy and getting anything decided or changed is so cumbersome that most people stop trying after a few years and become assimilated and complacent.
