Pros

Salaries are decent as are benefits. Not worth the aggravation though....

Cons

Please do not believe the Sage responses. Read through these reviews and pay attention, the negative ones all say the same thing. The positive ones seem to be posted IMMEDIATELY after. I have never worked in a more hostile, toxic environment. The software is terrible, the sales team lies to the customers (due to the unrealistic demands placed on them) and the customers get mad as the software does nothing it is supposed to. Training is nonexistent. Coworkers are only out for themselves and new employees are left to panic over what they should be doing while no one helps them.

Hello and thanks for your review. We (and me personally) never add or ask for fake reviews. In any company they'll always be diverse opinions. I won't lie, we are working hard to combat the negative reviews - we do this by listening to our colleagues and putting the wrongs right. There are lots of colleagues who love Sage - look at @LifeatSage on Instagram and you'll see how happy and genuine many of our colleagues are. I recently asked colleagues to tell me why they love Sage or why they joined Sage, and these are some of the replies I received "I love working for Sage because I work alongside some incredibly inspiring people who help me be the best I can be." and "Quite simply.. Challenges me, excites me, empowers me!" and "Sage is a great place to work because we're trusted & empowered to do the right thing and can make a difference for colleagues and customers everyday." We get things wrong sometimes, and we want Sage to be the best place to work, we do this by listening and learning. Thanks again and I wish you every success with your career.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
