Pros

- Loads of talented people here who are dedicated to excelling in their roles. Makes you always want to do better. Healthy competition! - Beautiful office location and facilities - Welcoming and friendly office culture - Great colleagues who are very willing to help with any questions to get you on board - Great office culture of celebration and socializing on Friday celebrations

Cons

- Minimal interaction across departments - Minimal discussion and concern with company stock - Management hasn't bee able to answer questions on how changes in company strategy and positioning trickle down to our everyday role in the company - no clear onboarding help provided. Mostly self-study with bits and pieces of help because of no proper training structure for consultants.

First, I want to extend to you a warm welcome to Sage! We are pleased you love our offices, our people, and the culture. It sounds like you are already a great addition to the team. When starting fresh at a new company, we understand that new colleagues benefit from a great onboarding experience. This allows them to easily get the information they need and acclimate quickly. Your manager should have also arranged for a buddy to help navigate everyday life at Sage, but it sounds like this may not have happened – it is worth highlighting this with your manager or even your campus site leader so they can make sure you have a resource to help. Fortunately, many of the answers to the other topics you mentioned can be found in one place - please visit the front page of our Your Sage intranet where you can learn about our stock program, watch informational videos, learn about products, employee resources, company news, volunteerism opportunities, and much more. You can even ask questions directly or anonymously about anything! We are very pleased you are interested in our company strategy, and it’s clear you have jumped in with both feet! Have you seen Stephen Kelly’s CEO Unplugged videos also on our intranet? He answers colleague questions, and this includes a deep dive into our strategy and goals. We also do a huge all-company kick-off annually where we all come together to align and discuss our strategy for the year. It’s very detailed, interactive, and serious fun…so get ready. You’ll love it! I do encourage you to share your feedback as a new colleague through some of our many internal channels where they can make a positive impact – the business knowledge, perspectives and ideas you bring from your past business experiences will only make us stronger. Thank you again for your review.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
