Pros

Good benefits program, eligible within 30 days of employment vs standard 90 days Work life balance (arrive and leave at the same time every day)

Cons

No option to opt out of long term disability coverage Poor communication and limited documentation of processes creating inconsistencies throughout the business causing frustrated employees and customers Low employee retention (both through those who quit and the semi-annual layoffs in each campus) and with those employees goes knowledge (see above) that was never shared/communicated No proper CRM tracking required (for reference about 20,000 customers on plan within their Start Up division alone) Questionable sales and business practices; would not recommend the products to family/friends Sage is for you if are fine with coming in doing the same thing everyday knowing you won't be able to help the business evolve, will be limited to effecting change for your customers and that you are disposable regardless of your performance.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
