Pros

Remote work is supported. Individual contributors and teammates are generally collaborative and relationship-focused.

Cons

- Engineering performance is primarily evaluated using coding metrics (e.g., lines of code, number of pull requests). - Frequent leadership changes contribute to a lack of clear direction or vision. - A significant portion of the engineering team was recently laid off, and roles were outsourced with limited preparation, leading to challenges in onboarding. - Engineering leadership appears disconnected from the day-to-day experience of individual contributors. - Increased workload due to attrition or layoffs has not been matched by changes in title or compensation.

Pros

Wonderful Front Line Managers and SVPs in the GTM Organization. Genuinely good, talented people at the IC and Mid - Sr. Management level.

Cons

PE playbook involves slashing headcount and resources while doubling or tripling job responsibilities. Cutting benefits. Redesigning a comp plan to pay as little as possible. OTEs are a fantasy. All those good, talented people are now broken spirits half in the game. Understandably, no one is going above and beyond when it's not rewarded.
