Pros

If you want to do recruitment but are put off by the cold calling then this company does not stress on stats and targets as much as other organisations do. I've never made a cold call in my life which I love and I wouldn't be here if I was doing that daily. Money is good if you accumulate a pipeline of people. Managers are good guys as long as you don't get on the wrong side of them. 2 annual events per year (summer and Christmas parties).

Cons

Working hours are 9-6. Would be nice to finish at 17:30. No dress down days or flexible working times. Starting salary is £16k and took me a couple years for it to go up to £18k even though it should have changed after 6 months. Any request for a higher salary after that is met with "make more placements and you'll get more money". Computers are slow and sometimes we can't login to the job boards to search for candidates as there isn't one login per recruiter. Pension and benefits are non existent. Commission is less than other organisations - if you don't bring on the work you will only get 5% of the amount billed. No career progression. It's recruitment or admin here.
