Pros
if you work very hard for it, you can move up, but it is very slow. some groups work as a team, others one person does all the work while the rest of the group gets credit. Good groundwork for some of the programs, but execution is lacking.
Cons
in other areas it is hard to advance unless you know the right person if you do a job even once, you will do it indefinitely too much gossip and drama allowed consistently see people moved into positions they don't have the skill or aptitude for simply because they know someone have witnessed several times where one person does the work and another gets the credit. management favorites bragging to others that they can do whatever they want to the detriment of others because they are 'the favorite' insurance is high deductible and to get discounts is near impossible. Raises are slow coming and not very much dollar- wise all of this causes low company moral.
