Pros
Starting wage is competitive and benefits are decent
Cons
Depending on the site and department you are hired in your experience will be vastly different. Production areas (FIP) are pushed hard and bear the brunt of aggressive schedule demands. 24/7 operations require OT from all three shifts resulting in poor work/life balance for people in these areas. This results in burnout and poor morale. The paycheck keeps you coming back but eventually you reach the point where you question if it's worth the sacrifice you and your family make. All the while other areas operate in a country club environment and ride on, and even hinder, the hard work of the production teams. It really is amazing to see so many benefiting from the effort of so few. Sad.
