Pros
Some really good pros working at Satcom, been able to gather a lot of knowledge regarding sat services. This helped expand my existing network knowledge. A very good work place where you feel you are providing a helpful service to the maritime market we support. you get to work on some really interesting cases. Every day brings a new challenge keeping you on your toes.
Cons
I would say the job requires a certain mindset. Training is provided, but the training is on the job and pretty fast paced. You need to be able to spend a few extra hours on self learning. If you are willing to put in the hours the workload is very manageable. This learning style is not for everyone. All the resources you need to make the job easy are available, but in some cases not in the easiest place to find.
