Pros

Sometimes would get free samples.

Cons

I truly loved this company when I started. It was exciting, the culture was fun and we actually got invited to work events and Christmas parties. Years later, I was so miserable with how I was treated I needed to get out as soon as possible. Upper Management will do everything they can so you never hit your KPIs and get your bonus. Which to be clear your bonus is literally a tank of gas every 2 months. Good luck asking for a raise because you’ll never get it. Management will call you names, call you out in calls by name if you are down in numbers, yell at you in parking lots, track your location everywhere, and never compliment your wins. You are forced to be on a zoom call at 8am and again at 4:45 every day on camera to show you are out working to micromanage you. You are given your distributors deals 2 weeks into the month and will never have the tools to help you succeed. Fireball is a huge push but they haven’t had display pieces or marketing tools in over 6 months for this brand because they blame it on no budget. Your distributor partners are the only asset you have to help you. The state manager told our manager we were not to go to the Christmas party because he wanted us out in market and your team outings once a month were to go to the team storage unit to clean and organize it. You truly feel like your back in 8th grade and never treated like an adult. You get yelled at by your manager every morning call that we’re not doing enough. I informed HR about how management was treating me and she had nothing to say to help me. Beautiful company but treats their employees like garbage.

Pros

I really enjoy the brands and the industry as a whole. I take a lot of pride in working hard, solving problems for customers, and closing sales. Sazerac brings a lot to the table too—competitive pricing, a strong product lineup, and every now and then we even get some pretty cool POS to work with.

Cons

Our distributor can’t seem to carry enough of our stuff, so we’re constantly out of stock on anything new or anything people actually want. It’s a mess. Be ready to grind 40 hours a week in accounts, then somehow cram in trainings, reports, posts, pre-planning, organizing POS…basically all the other crap on your “free time.” And don’t forget—you better account for every singe minute of your day. Got a gap between calls because you had to a crap or grab food? Yeah, you might want to log that too, because they’re gonna want to know exactly what you were doing with their time.
