Pros
The people there are great to work with, very friendly, and accepted me as a part of the group from day one. Middle management has a hands off management style... they help you when you need it, but don't micro manage. The company has a great work-life balance and has outings and events to break up the monotony of every day work, such as chili cook-offs and Oktoberfest celebrations. The benefits package is nice and even my doctor told me that I had really good health insurance. Overall, if it weren't for a few small issues, I would have never left the company. The raises and end-of-the-year bonuses are also a nice perk.
Cons
Unless you're of German descent and male, you're not going to go too far in the company. The President is definitely a chauvinist, who only cares about his "boy's club". I've seen a female director get completely ignored by the president of the company so that he could talk to the men about less important issues. Also, there is not a lot of room for advancement in the company.
