      Pros

      The opportunity to work at Google as a contractor gave me lots of chances to learn and build connections with excellent people Able to reimburse Internet fee and some of home office amenities, free lunch and coffee when work at office

      Cons

      Many limitations for contractors, I think this position is more like being an assistant to designers Only 8 PTO per year No bonus and stock etc No access to document as default No access to many meetings

      Pros

      They're very supportive (applied for my H1B), excellent in communication which is very vital when you're working with staffing companies, and helped me find a role very quickly in late 2021.

      Cons

      They did not have any roles for me in 2023, but I guess that is because the market was such.

      Sometimes delayed feedback from upper management. Can be stressful for those not accustomed to rapid project turnarounds.
