Pros

Flexibility - although Scoro is very structured, there is a lot of flexibility to work where you want and when you want (as long as you do 7hrs a day). 4 day week - we have most Fridays off which is amazing. Clear expectations - our individual, team and business goals are very clear and I understand what's expected of me. Strong management - the management team is effective and communicate well with one-another. It's easy to get to know people from the leadership team as they are open and friendly. Transparency - I'm really encouraged to share honest feedback to improve in all areas of the business. Challenges are talked about openly and worked on as a team. Autonomy - I'm given a lot of autonomy and responsibility in my role and there's a good level of trust in people to get their jobs done. Size - Scoro is around 120 people so it's possible to get to know most people here. I like this size because there are always opportunities to learn, grow and try something new. Global week - it's a lot of fun getting together as an entire team twice a year in Tallinn and celebrating at the end with a big party!

Cons

Being structured with our time is great but it also limits the amount of friendly interaction we have with each other. I believe this is partly a result of the 4 day work week and needing to get more done in less time. However, it's something that other people have also shared and I feel like there are small changes happening to help improve this. Because we're mostly Estonian based, there's not a wide range of diversity. People are very accepting of different cultures but if you're not used to the Estonian culture, you will notice the culture is more direct.

Pros

After working for more than one toxic culture company, Scoro is a breath or fresh air. I actually enjoy getting up and going to work every day. The culture you see on social media and their website is the real deal (and not just PR). I work with fantastic team members across the globe that are always willing to help each other grow and learn. My direct manager is responsive and helpful. Time off is encouraged. Leadership consistently asks for feedback on ways to make the company a better place to work, AND actually follows through on the promises they make to employees. Then if that isn't enough, there are the GREAT perks: a 4 day work week, 2 trips to get together with the global team in Estonia each year, generous vacation policy, and the ability to work fully remote from whatever corner of the globe you choose. For US team members, we also have a pretty generous number of holidays each year. Scoro is a very collaborative environment, and generally the team enjoys spending time together outside of work. I know that's not for everybody, so if you don't like socializing with your coworkers (you'd rather just go to work, do your job, and then go home) then this might not be for you. This applies to remote workers as well - any time we are together (which is a handful of times each year at either the US headquarters or our global headquarters) we usually spend our after-work time together as well. I have zero regrets making the move to work for Scoro. It truly is a unicorn of a company to work for.

Cons

For US potential employees, you should be aware that we do not have the most competitive benefits package by American standards. Health insurance is the most expensive I've ever had. We also do not offer short/long term disability or life insurance (which has at least been offered at every other company I've worked at, even if I had to pay for it out of my own pocket). This may be because we are still a small team and do not qualify for the volume discounts that larger businesses can access. Hopefully this gets better as we continue to grow (which is quickly happening), and this post becomes obsolete.

Pros

Remote work, pretty good company culture, team that wants to do better and make progress

Cons

Always changing systems so not enough time to build consistent habits that lead to good results, back to 5DWW after 4DWW is tough, demanding jobs hours for not as many winning deals

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback. It’s great to hear you appreciate the culture, remote setup, and the team’s motivation to improve. We know some changes have been challenging, and we’re working to bring more focus and consistency. If there’s anything we can improve or support you with, we really encourage you to bring it up with your manager or People Operations. Your input truly helps us move forward.
