I’ve had a positive experience working at Scratch. Teams are collaborative, genuinely willing to help each other, and treat one another with respect. I’ve appreciated the transparency from leadership and the focus on continuous improvement. The company does move quickly, but there’s a lot of opportunity to take ownership and make a real impact. The remote work environment is also a huge plus, supporting flexibility.

Like most fast-growing companies, things can change quickly, and there are periods where priorities shift, requiring teams to adapt quickly. With evolving processes, we sometimes have to move fast while building structure along the way.

Everyone that I interacted with was incredibly kind, and I had very clear directions on what tasks I needed to do each week. My manager especially was so sweet; she was my favorite thing about working there. They were super transparent about any questions I had, and the hybrid environment was just right for me.

The only con I can think of is that I wish there was more work I could've done. I know what an intern is allowed to do is limited for good reason, but I found myself with downtime sometimes that I would've rather been using to learn a new skill or practice something.
