Pros

Worked with some of the best coworkers in my entire working experience

Cons

Management is disorganized, old-fashioned and refuse to listen to new ideas. 10 days of annual leave. Keep hiring the wrong personnel for the wrong position. Secterary has to perform HR duties without prior notice. Was only notify just before signing the appointment letter. High turn over of staff. Witnessed more than 5 secretaries resigning within a span of the 1 year that I worked there. Have the tendency to overload employees with work. Pantry has no microwave or fridge. Eating is forbidden in the office and there are no waste bins in the office. Not even for scrap paper. Employees are not allowed to send out external emails. All emails are filtered by one employee. I was not an excutive there but I have to serve two months notice. TL;DR - The Office, Season 7, Episode 19, minute 14:45

Pros

None whatsoever, there was absolutely no support, and the management’s approach was both poor and excessively tight with resources.

Cons

They provide a job title, yet much of the work you’re expected to do goes beyond what is outlined in the employment contract. Although salaries are due on the last day of the month, they are occasionally disbursed very late in the evening. The Chinese New Year angbao is not an additional benefit; instead, the amount is deducted from your salary, essentially placing a portion of your own pay into a red packet.

Pros

A good workplace for gaining hands-on experience in the marine and engineering field. Teams are generally helpful and willing to guide new staff. Exposure to a wide range of projects, giving employees strong technical knowledge. Management recognises effort and is supportive when issues are raised.

Cons

Work can be intense depending on project schedules. Some internal processes could be more streamlined to improve efficiency.
