Pros

Working at SelfHacked has been great because it's allowed me the career flexibility I desired while also providing the opportunity to live out my mission to help others. The people working here truly care a lot about helping people take their health into their own hands and providing people with science-backed information so that they can make informed health decisions. Everyone I've worked with at the company has been great and even though we are a fully remote company, I still feel like I've been able to build positive relationships and great connections with my co-workers. I've only been here about 7 months, but already I've seen the company grow a lot, add new features to our products and improve many of the processes in place. I believe that SelfHacked has a great future ahead of it and I'm honored to be a part of it!

Cons

This is a fully remote startup company. If you don't enjoy a fast-paced environment that requires a lot of self-motivation and the ability to take initiative...then this might not be the place for you. If that's the type of environment you thrive in... you'll fit right in ;)

Pros

SelfHacked is a dynamic and growing company with a lot of potential for career advancement in an exciting and progressive industry. If you're interested in health/medicine/science, then you'll be immersed in learning a wide variety of topics alongside some very intelligent people in the field. The team is highly educated and is moving fast to make SelfHacked the top health website on the Internet. Also, the flexibility in working hours and the option of remote work makes the whole deal very attractive for qualified applicants.

Cons

The initial writing deadline of 2 weeks was a bit tight, given the demands of SelfHacked's writing requirements. This has recently been extended to 4 weeks since I've started, which makes a big difference. So this is no longer a Con, really. One month should be enough time for even part-time writers to produce quality work for the site.
