While the schedule is flexible, this is not a good fit for newcomers. As a first job, the pressure from heavy caseloads and difficult clients is extreme—expect to burn out fast. It’s only really suitable as a temporary stopgap.
Cons
There is insane micromanagement with no real support or connection from leadership. It's a major red flag. Terrible benefits, closed culture, and a thankless job. You'll be blamed for everything when your elderly clients (80+) inevitably forget what you told them. A huge red flag. The pay is extremely low considering the high-stress workload and level of responsibility
