Pros

Culture based on trust, autonomy and team work, flexible working hours and remote-first setup, your ideas are heard and your opinion is important, a great bunch of really talented people to work with! You own your work-life-balance and can chose when and where to work from. Every role is given a lot of responsibility and autonomy, which I do not take for granted.

Cons

I would not recommend Sherpany to someone who loves bureaucracy, hierarchy, clear structure, a lot of hand-holding and someone who needs a lot of guidance.

Dear Sherpanee, Thank you for your positive review! Respectful and trustworthy cooperation is very important to us. #Appreciative, an important part of our core values, characterizes our positive corporate culture, which we are very proud of. It's great to read that you experience this value in the same way in your daily interactions with other Sherpanees, that your ideas are heard and implemented. We are also pleased that you enjoy the flexibility and remote culture at Sherpany. We agree, that this is not for everyone! We trust our employees - but with this freedom comes a lot of personal responsibility. We don't control how much work is done and we trust our Sherpanees to look after their own work-life balance. This is certainly not the right working model for everyone, but we are happy to read that it suits you personally perfectly. :) Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We really appreciate it. Best regards, Your People Team

Pros

Strong internal community of ICs; the peer-to-peer support and professional dedication are the company's greatest assets.

Cons

Leadership has developed a massive blind spot regarding the culture here. Last year's promotions on the product team have put toxic micromanagers into key "head-of" positions. It’s a systemic issue now... the company isn't just ignoring bad behavior; it’s actively rewarding it with "head" roles promotion. This "promote-the-bully" culture is trickling down and ruining the environment for everyone else.
