Pros
Nice new offices, decent computers, ability to set your own schedule work-wise. The office has some very kinds and talented people working there. Decent retention rates considering how long people often last at an office in the fashion industry. This office / sales team pushes for new creative ideas often, which can feel like pressure, but actually keeps designers on their toes and thinking quickly.
Cons
Lack of direction and guidance from upper management (they are always impossible to find when you need them). Much pressure put on design from sales team to increase their numbers, when there is no sales strategy at all and they seem to barley be keeping their heads above water. Accounting does not pay the bills to UPS or their factories, causing delays in samples arriving and damaging relationships with factories.
You have to pay for your own travel upfront and then get re-reimbursed back. Little to no raises ever, with most designers expected to do more and bring bigger results to the table constantly with no help from assistants, freelancers, or even interns.
