Pros
I used to really enjoy working here. If I needed to work overtime for a project, I would. 2025 projects are proof of that. Pay is good. Wlb WAS really good until leadership took the ai pill.
Cons
We are using ai to speed up engineers but without any real metrics or reason to compare to. Pretty much everywhere you look it’s been proven that Ai coding agents only speed up work by around 10-30% optimally, yet we are expected to over double our output based on the metrics that we’re now being tracked by. They fired our beloved CTO out of his position, and replaced him with someone that everyone in his department completely distrusts. Turnover was really low before, basically 0 but I expect that to change after things settle.
