Pros
adjustable tables and not for everyone, several coffee machines/kitchenettes, a decent canteen, good underground transport connection
Cons
SIEMENS MOBILITY DEPARTMENT / TRAIN lower and upper management doesn't really care of you: be it German managers, be it Czech managers, they show bossing and general disrespect to employees. German/Bavarian managers are slightly more welcoming than Czechs; Czech and Erlangen coworkers aren't really helpful; In Prague office exists mobbing, lack of appreciation of foreigners on a deeper level; coworkers actively discuss refugees' crisis in Germany and propose nasty solutions to that. management doubles the quantity of desks in their open-space offices, thus the quantity of coworkers in the room; Czechia is a nearshore for the Germans, so you travel back and forth and report to 2 Czech and 2 German managers. if you book a vacation, you will be forced to cancel it because of some extra "work". This happened when I participated in Erlangen`s departmental job meeting and the German boss asked them to work on Saturdays thus colliding with already booked vacations of some coworkers; active gossiping and calumny in the place; task stealing in the place; they save money on an employee's trip lunch! the same engineering position is years long on offer!! Bad organisation of job trips: a big mess with Amex cards, the secretary is always out of work, there is noone to book hotel rooms and the management will finally blame you for that. During the interview at Siemens Mobility/Trains the Czech boss will go down with your already low salary without even informing you of that face to face.
