Pros
It used to have a cool work culture and work-life balance was good. Architects from US office were so great to interact with and learn from.
Cons
1) Work in Pune is mostly maintaining old technologies by fixing bugs and doing small enhancements. 2) The managers in Pune have created their own territory and they frown upon people moving out or coming in. Some managers value their ego more than employee's ambitions. Team change is extremely tough and sometimes only way to get a team change is through resignation. Worst of all, management in US blindly believes the managers in Pune and never do the skip-level review.
