Pros

Noting to mention. Just in person people are nice

Cons

They do not care about the trustworthiness of their product. They just try to sell a simple thing at a high cost. The main reason is that their employees, managers, and leaders are not really AI scientists; they are from other fields or lack scientific knowledge. So, in discussions, they do not attend to the important parts of AI, and their product may be unreliable. The main disadvantage of this company is that they present themselves as professional, yet their site lead, for example, does not know the basic concept of AI. Additionally, they praise each other in a very bad shape.

Silo AI Response

Sad to hear about this bad experience at Silo AI. Something we are proud of is our high scientific expertise in different fields of AI. To build successful business and quality solutions, we also need different expertise from various fields. Therefore, we are also very proud of our diverse expertise. Our current management team represents strong expertise in different fields, including AI, economics, finance, HR, sales, leadership - unfortunate to hear that you don't consider the expertise is enough. Main reason why many people have stayed at Silo AI since the very beginning is the high expertise amongst peers and opportunities to learn from them. Thank you for your feedback.

Pros

Lots of AI projects, many AI talents in the team

Cons

Silo AI is basically a consulting company. Although there exist several AI talents, the COO and managers do not bother looking into any CV. When there is a new project, the assignment is made primarily to the people they know and they like. As most of projects are average or below average for most of AI people, there is no need to find good people to assign. As a consequence, several AI talents are there without project and are considered "useless", no promotion applied over the years. Benefits and promotion are reserved to a group of people. The CEO seems do not want to intervene much to the COO and other's work.
