Pros

SimplePractice has the two best possible things going for it: a great product and an outstanding, committed team. It’s growing in a very healthy way, which makes it, in my opinion, the absolute best kind of place for people who enjoy both a dynamic startup environment, and a reliable source of income for the next several years. It’s an exciting, engaging, and yet stable place to be. This isn’t a company that’s burning too hot, only to flame out in a few months. Management always maintains a very rational eye on the future- it guides their decisions and keeps the company consistently and predictably profitable. SimplePractice is really special. Everyone works hard but maintains a wonderful sense of humor, and people are very free to be just who they are. No departments are treated like they’re more important than others, and everyone’s voice is heard. Great health benefits, generous vacation, a very relaxed dress code and really good catered lunches. Also, dogs are there most days and the fridge pretty much always has string cheese.

Cons

Cats are not allowed. Repeated requests for an office rabbit were not merely denied, they were NOT EVEN TAKEN SERIOUSLY!

Pros

- Pay is decent - Nice FTO, company holidays, and summer Fridays - Some truly great people until you get into higher leadership

Cons

SimplePractice has gone from a wonderful workplace to an absolutely miserable, toxic environment. People get put on PIPs and fired for minor infractions that could easily be fixed. People who manage to avoid being PIPed are only there until they can find another role. Even new hires leave pretty quickly when given the opportunity. Leadership is under qualified and out of touch with their reports. More focused on replacing than on coaching. Overall SP is a mental health company that is hellbent on destroying the mental health of its employees.
