Pros

Culture and autonomy stand out as top differentiators for Skedda. You're respected as an individual while also encouraged to participate in, and contribute to, the team in ways that bring out the best you have to offer. While there is never any undue pressure placed on teammates to deliver on unreasonable deadlines, the team always seems to operate incredibly efficiently, with productive results! Overall, a great place to work, with great people, a great product, and an exciting future ahead.

Cons

I can't think of anything significant that could be improved! Every company has its 'quirks', but Skedda has been a pleasure to work with during my time here.

Pros

- Great team of smart, genuinely good people. I really love this team, and get a lot of energy from solving problems with them. - Strong business momentum, where we have a business model that works and a clear path to growth. - Good product that delivers real value, with a customer base that is very happy with us. - Senior leadership cares about team as humans, not just workers. - Business feels much more stable than startups I'd previously worked at. There is a very grounded approach to growth here that is refreshing, reflected both in our goals and in the overall mentality from CEO all the way down.

Cons

- It's a startup, so expect to have to move very quickly, take on work outside of your role, and work occasional late nights. - Not a great place for people who prefer a slower, large-company corporate feel with well-defined roles and pre-existing playbooks for success. - Financially cautious culture, which limits new hires and external agency support, resulting in bandwidth constraints for existing team members.
