Pros

Passionate and smart people Location Culture Quality work Remote Fridays

Cons

CEO has serious ego issues and only cares about his personal wealth. He has to be in control of everything and doesn't like to be challenged which is an issue because he doesn't know much about running the different departments. He does however know about finance and regularly tries to get away with unethical practices. If that's not enough, he also has a "use and abuse" mentality, meaning he has to get the most out of his labor costs. Expect your job to be whatever random title you're handed plus 5 other things. CEO's significant other has way too much of a say in the business. Whines and complains to him a lot which causes internal problems. The company seriously lacks process and organization. It seems that there is a cycle of backwards progress in structure. Lack of incentives, no review process or career advancement. Bonuses/raises are avoided as much as possible.

Pros

-Excellent clients that are savvy, and genuinely fun to work with -Constant opportunities to forge your own path. If you have a big idea, and the drive to follow it through, it will be supported by management. -The remote working enables individual flexibility, but still maintains the efficient structure of an office environment -The TEAM! It's a genuine pleasure to work with each and every member of the team. It's a small company so inter-departmental cooperation is critical. It's awesome to be reminded what an expert each team member is in their respective fields.

Cons

-This is a social company, and the internet never sleeps. So neither do we. JK, we do, but when it's crunch time you will be expected to meet the challenge. -The state of social/digital is constantly in flux and it can feel like a second job keeping up with the incessant changes on each platform, but it's imperative that you do. -Most roles have a very high degree of autonomy and you should be prepared to shepherd a project from start to finish.
