Pros

Sodexo is a strong company and depending on the account you are at, can be a pleasant experience. Salaries are generally fair depending on your boss.

Cons

They will do everything possible to find a loop hole to not pay out bonuses. New roll outs are not backed up and supported. They fade away within a few months. A lot of work and expense wasted. Sales teams make promises that the managers can not produce. Budgets are not very attainable. Sodexo says 'own your unit' but you are not allowed to run it that way. Company is more numbers-driven than service-driven. No career path... DM's put you where they need you. Salaries on are not dependent on performance. 3% is what you get unless you move to another account.

Pros

My direct coworkers and other onsite employees are amazing and some of the nicest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. The day to day responsibilities are enjoyable to work on most days. Company phone provided for work communications during work hours (you don’t have to take them home with you) Free meals on shifts worked (with restrictions) “Set schedule”

Cons

Work life balance is not great. You hire on for one position or schedule and then end up being required to perform job duties that are outside of your description on top of your daily responsibilities. Wages are really low. Unfair distribution of allotted overtime hours. Benefits are not good either. Insurance is really expensive for not great coverage. Maternity leave is only 6 weeks and only 60% of your pay covered by short term disability (that you pay for out of pocket until 2 years of service)
