Pros

Every quarter every employee gets a check for half of the profit. Checks vary but do come

Cons

Very poor management. Jobs are always overloaded with labor and material is never ready at the jobs. I had to provide my own canopy for protection from the searing sun

Pros

I worked with this company for 3 great years. They allowed me to really get a great start in the industry and build upon my skills. Everyone in the company is extremely dedicated to their jobs, and passionate about building a great company, and doing the right thing. The CEO, President, and Vice President are all great people, with local ties to the community and a history of doing great work in previous/other companies. In an industry were sleazy practices were starting to pop up, Solargaines made a stance to "do solar right" ,and it resonates with employees With Solargaines, you wear many hats as an employee, but you will gain a ton of valuable experience. One thing is clear is that everyone cares about the customer at Solargaines, and when in doubt will side with the customer. As an employee, you are treated very fairly, and are able to have an opinion in many important matters as well. Even up to the time I was leaving the company, they treated me with respect, and honored my decision. Overall, the company does very high quality work, and is extremely knowledgeable about products, financing, project management, installation, customer service etc. Great place to start a career, or have them install an array!

Cons

At a small company, you are required to wear many hats, which can become very taxing at times. The benefit is that you will learn many aspects of how a small company works (the good and the bad!). The customers always come first, but when very busy, things can sometimes slip through the cracks. A very "Build it yourself" mentality for go getters. Not a ton of guidance from upper managment
