Pros
You will meet some pretty nice people. You will learn very quickly how to work under pressure and manage constant change.
Cons
This company will say all the right things to get you in the door. The interview process makes it sound like you are joining a supportive team where ideas are welcomed and everyone is working toward the same goal. The reality becomes clear very quickly once you start. There is very little structure, planning or accountability. Everything is last minute and priorities change constantly. You are expected to drop everything at a moment’s notice and just deal with whatever is thrown at you. Long hours are not just common, they are expected. The culture is extremely unhealthy. Instead of working together, people are pitted against each other. Some employees will happily use you as a stepping stone if it helps them get ahead. You are not building a team here, you are surviving a competition. There is also a very clear divide between a small group of people who are glorified and protected, and everyone else who is left out. The problem is these people wouldn’t know a days work if it slapped them in the face, but will be the ones to progress and get above. This creates a mob mentality where certain voices dominate and others are ignored completely. If you are not part of that inner circle, you will feel it very quickly. People talk about being encouraged to speak up, but when you actually do, nothing changes. In many cases the people who raise concerns quietly disappear not long after. That pattern becomes very obvious. The turnover is constant. It is normal to come in one morning and find that someone else is gone. The most talented people rarely stay long because they realise quickly that the environment is not sustainable. Over time this place will make you question yourself and your abilities. One day you are praised and made to feel like you are doing great work, the next you are made to feel incompetent and disposable. The mind games and lack of consistency wear people down. If you are a kind or genuine person who values teamwork, and likes to do some real work, this is not the place for you. The people who last the longest are usually the ones willing to throw others under the bus when it suits them. There is a reason so many reviews say the same thing. It is not coincidence. Many people have had the same experience. No matter how tempting the opportunity may look from the outside, protect your mental health and think carefully before accepting a role here. A job is never worth the toll this environment can take on you.
