Pros

You will bond with your colleagues over how awful it is to work there

Cons

Toxic Culture No management No direction No strategy No brand identity. It will change one day to the next depending on what brand she wants to copy on any given day. They prefer to hire young people with limited experience in order to try control and manipulate them. Honestly please avoid, it will affect your health so badly!

Pros

Absolutely none! Also to make it clear that there are untruthful positive reviews being posted. They are trying all avenues to hide the tarnished reputation that's industry known.

Cons

I would recommend anyone who is thinking of joining this place to avoid at all costs! Do NOT leave another role or company to come here, no matter how bad you think your current job is you will never experience something as bad as SOSU. If you want to feel like a shell of yourself, cry regularly, and question your self worth on a daily basis, then this is the place for you. Working here is emotionally exhausting, mentally draining, and completely demoralizing. If you're hoping to contribute ideas, make decisions, or have any form of creative input in your role, forget it. Your professional opinion is ignored, overridden, or dismissed entirely. You're expected to be a robot, follow orders without question, even when those orders make no sense or change multiple times a day. It is a toxic, manipulative, dictatorship style, chaotic and unstable environment which operates through gaslighting and control. One moment you're praised, the next you're being torn down. You're constantly left second guessing yourself, feeling like nothing you do is ever good enough. The emotional toll is unbearable, leaving you drained, anxious, and on the verge of tears more often than not. Constructive feedback is not welcome and if you question anything, you’ll quickly find yourself pushed out, whether through relentless bullying or also being fired without warning. There is zero stability or job security. People are fired at the drop of a hat, sometimes without explanation. Leaving the remaining staff worried for their own future and scrambling to cover the gaps. You walk in every day wondering if it will be your last. I've witnessed colleagues fired on a whim. Employees quit regularly with no jobs lined up, unable to handle the stress, yet nothing ever changes.. The revolving door of employees is not only exhausting but also demoralizing. The workplace is built on fear and instability, and management thrive on it. This place runs of a complete lack of organization and chaos, they scream about how they are "imputting processes" and "following the process" but these are non existant alongside outdated systems. Deadlines are unrealistic, decisions are reversed constantly, and communication is practically non existent. You’ll spend your time fighting fires and fixing problems caused by poor leadership, only for you to be blamed when things go wrong. There is no accountability from senior management on approvals and decisions when they are challenged that they had agreed to the decision previously. The pressure and crazy demands is relentless, and there is absolutely no appreciation for the effort you put in. You will lose yourself in the emotional and mental exhaustion of working here is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. You’ll find yourself mentally upset all of the time, dreading work every morning, and questioning why you ever took this job. You come in as a confident professional and leave as a broken version of yourself. They lure you in with promises of amazing benefits like authority in your role, creative lead, flexible working, career growth opportunities, staff discounts, and a supportive team environment. It all sounds great on paper, but the moment you sign your contract, everything changes. Suddenly, those benefits come with endless conditions, loopholes, and excuses as to why they no longer apply. It’s all smoke and mirrors to get you through the door, and once you’re in, they’ll do everything possible to strip away what was promised, leaving you stuck in a toxic job with none of the perks you were expecting to receive. This company does not care about you, your well being, or your career growth. You are disposable, and the moment you stand up for yourself or struggle under the pressure, you will be fired or pushed out. If you value your happiness, self respect, and sanity.... DO. NOT. WORK. HERE.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Toxic workplace

Pros

The only real positive I can highlight is the team—many of my coworkers were some of the most talented and supportive professionals I’ve worked with.

Cons

If you value your mental health, self-worth, or career growth, I would advise caution before joining. The company initially offers attractive pay and benefits, but these may change after onboarding. Management often backtracks on approvals, and employees are frequently blamed for organisational inconsistencies. Communication is unclear, and the leadership style can be unpredictable and demoralising. Boundaries between work and personal life are often not respected. After-hours contact is common, and employees' questions may go unanswered. HR lacks presence and consistency, with ongoing turnover and frequently rewritten onboarding materials. The work environment can feel isolating, with limited opportunity for team bonding or mutual support. Relationships between colleagues are often discouraged, and the overall atmosphere is one of instability. Contributions often go unacknowledged, and job security feels uncertain. Sudden dismissals occur without explanation, fostering a culture of fear. Notably, most team members have a tenure of under two years, which may be worth considering when evaluating the long-term potential of a role here.
