Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. I love your comments about your co-workers, and I couldn’t agree more. Sovosians are talented, inspired and motivated individuals who are a joy to work with. I also agree that there are peaks and troughs in workload throughout the year. Like most companies, we have times of year that are busier than others for us that’s definitely tax season. Where I don’t quite agree is on the feedback regarding our training. However, our company has an intranet where anyone can access documentation, wiki and knowledgebase, as well as a dedicated LMS where even remote training is brought to life. It also sounds like you are passionate about teaching methodologies, which we are too at Sovos. We have chosen to take an approach that is more aligned with andragogy vs. pedagogy. Which is really to say that we favor adult learning theories and user centric design. It allows us to focus on learning as a personalized journey as opposed to something more rigid, which we’ve found to be very effective. We have been consistently recognized for our training impacts by Training Magazine’s APEX Awards stack ranking in the top third, alongside world leading organizations.
