Pros
401k, health insurance and other benefits are not bad, 3 different options with the best being comparable to most plans, plenty of overtime if desired, competitive pay when it comes to home health. Opportunity for LPNs and RNs. Administration and management is great, staff for the most part are like a family, the residents and everyone involved directly in the homes make for an incredible atmosphere. Workload and flow is not bad compared to acute care settings.
Cons
Get guaranteed annual raises across the board but getting an additional raise takes extra work. Staffing issues at times. Usually have a nurse supervisor, 1 nurse and 2 caregivers for 4-6 residents but being down a caregiver means extra work.
