Pros

Good experience for someone starting out and needing basic income. You learn what not to do. An okay stepping stone in the industry.

Cons

Shady, insurance fraud, out of touch management who ask unethical tasks of all employees. Client care is not considered. You have trouble sleeping knowing that the client has been defrauded. No support from supervisors. Owner is psychotic and off of his meds and meddles with the hard work of employees that actually want to do a good job. Management posts fake reviews on this site, yelp, and others and will request that you do so as part of your job. You are also required to forge documents.

Pros

They do offer a competitive wage and start matching 401k after a few years with the company. The location doesn’t get better!

Cons

The owner is losing his mind. The direction of the company changes almost on a weekly basis. The were a detox/res and moved into an IOP program with no IOP housing! They are telling insurance that they are housing and doing groups in LA and the whole time it’s all running out of Laguna Beach. Then they wanted to do mental health. No staff was trained for mental health. Then it was VA because that’s where the most money is. Then it was going to be a sober living. Now, as I understand, it is dealing with fentanyl clients only! This place is all over the board and it all leads back to the owner Chris Spencer. He should sell because he does not have the mental capacity to be running any company. He needs to think about the employees livelihood in these flavor of the day changes that are constantly happening. Management is in fear of the man at all times.
