Great company to work for - Legal Team Administrator Spire Solicitors Employee Review

It is the best place I have worked so far. The pay, culture, work life balance etc. is all pretty good. Like any place of work there are some that are better or more helpful than others but generally it has a nice feel and good perks such as an EV scheme.

There has been a lot of change lately with members leaving/retiring which leaves some uncertainty, and the IT could be better. Also the bonus schemes have not been as good as they first appeared.

I feel very supported by all senior members of staff. My supervisors have all given me support where needed, whilst also letting me run a small caseload to gain real experience. I have also been very involved in the training contract process itself, for example: I have been able to express my preference for which seats I do and their locations. HR have kept me informed and regularly check in with me on throughout my training. There are also lots of social events, from internal firm-only events, to the Spire cup with lots of external businesses. Overall, my journey as a paralegal and trainee solicitor has been very smooth, and tailored to my preferences, so I have gained experience in areas that suit me.

The only downside is the lack of communal staff room, although I understand this is in progress.
