Pros
- It’s a paycheck - Established great relationships with my nurses - It’s a paycheck
Cons
- Every move that you make is managed, from when you take a PTO day to when you go to the restroom. Managers will check in on you every 5 min. Very much like daycare. - There is no HR. Huge red flag. - Managers are very inexperienced and have no training on how to have coaching conversations. You will notice this is most of their first “adult” job outside of college and you will be able to tell. - Little to no job stability; Travel nursing is already a very competitive industry, with hundreds of staffing agencies, and StaffDNA just can’t keep up with the success of these other agencies. They are still living through the success they had during Covid(which every agency profited off of). -They fail to realize that their lack of direction and ineffective leadership is affecting the company. Employee retention and morale is at an all time low. Every job has stressful aspects, but what makes it worse is how the CEO on down speaks to employees. Upper management are called stupid, incompetent and demoted all within the same week( and seem to be okay with it). -As much as the CEO thinks people are easily replaceable, you will need these people to run your company. Treat people with respect and you wouldn’t have to beg the great employees to come back. - Anyone who enjoys this toxic environment has either settled because they feel like they can’t get anything better or because they do so little work ( Directors) that they know they would never be able to make it at a reputable company that holds its employees and leadership accountable.
