Where do so begin? I’m going to keep this as short as the time that I spent here ( I was fired shortly for no sound reason that they could provide me). The reviews are right, this place is toxic. I had a bad feeling about it my first day there and from that day I knew that my time here would be short lived and I immediately started hunting for other jobs.
*Leadership here is all over the place; you hear different things from different people and none of them align with what the last person said.
***BIGGEST RED FLAG***: Everybody there is brand new! You will seldom find anyone there (with the exception of the 9-12 month veteran “Team Leads” that has been with this company for more than 5 months (and even that number is pushing it). Most of the 7 people I had shadowed at started either 3 weeks prior to me or had just barely reached 2 months. I found it strange that they had one new person shadowing multiple others; we’re all new, there’s only so much we can actually learn from each other. If you go into the internal application system that is used for daily operations, you’ll see that most of the employee names in the list of registered users shows as “inactive” meaning the employees leave the company and drop like flies quicker than you can say “Bye”.
* Your first two weeks at LEAST, will consist of boring in-classroom PowerPoints where the instructors skim through bullet points, use curse words within their lectures , and display little motivation.
* Outside of the classroom, you will be doing nothing, but COLD CALLING former candidates who have broken ties with the company and no longer want to be bothered by anyone who is associated with it. You are expected to make several calls a day ( as many as 150) and try to convince these former associates to comeback and apply for more jobs within the StaffDNA app. You’ll start to feel like an annoying car salesman, who continues to harass people after they’ve been told to stop and moved to to the recipient’s “Do Not Answer” list.
* The work environment is VERY young, most people here are well under the age of 25. Unsurprisingly, this workplace feels a lot like High-school, very cliquey and easy to be outcasted if you don’t seem to “fit in”. Luckily, I’m pretty head strong so this didn’t affect me too much.
*No employee feedback, you never know if you’re doing anything right or wrong. They tell you nothing about your work performance even if you’re just starting. So you’re left working if everything you’ve been learning is actually being processed efficiently.
*Funny that there’s no employee feedback, but they will still make it a mission to micromanage you like a hawk watches it’s pray. Waiting for you to move even a muscle doing anything outside of sitting on your butt, and leaving voicemails for hours without any breaks.
-You WILL work at least 50 hours a week. You’re working from 8-6 M-F and other employees told me that they sometime have to stay until 7 to complete all of this work. 10 hour workdays, 5 days a week, all while only getting paid $45k salary (FYI, they only pay you salary so they don’t have to pay you overtime for the unethical amount of work they make you do for minimal compensation).
*Mr. CEO. After one Friday company wide team meeting, I got to indirectly meet this CEO. The end of the meeting consisted of his cussing out his employees, telling everybody that they were ungrateful and undeserving of all the “nice things” he did for everyone such as “stocking the fridge and cabinets with snacks and Celsius energy drinks”. He said verbatim “I’m sick of you guys always wanting to “B-Word” and moan about working long hours. If you want to “B-word” and moan, go find another place to work. I don’t care”. Yikes! Who says that to a room full of new faces? Left a very bitter taste in my mouth. People prance around this rude man like he’s a god or something. It’s weird.
To every young teen to early twenties person who just graduated and is desperately looking for new professional work as a recent degree holder, PLEASE do not settle in your job search! Companies like StaffDNA might look appealing, but these companies merely want to prey on your youth; naivety, and desperation. They look to take advantage of you, underpaying you and overworking you. There are better options out there, I promise! Research every company before you even consider accepting any interview. I wish I did! Go through these reviews and in between the fake, incentivized 5-star reviews you see, read the REAL experiences from people who unfortunately had to deal with this company themselves.
