Exciting time for the metaverse - Social Media Marketing Manager Stageverse Employee Review

Not many redeeming qualities. It's a high-risk high-gain startup. It's a good product to believe in, but poorly executed.

The company is very reactive to every little tide in the industry. Fortnite, VR, Crypto, NFTs. Changes the company vision and totally rebrands with each one. Management is disconnected from their own target demographic. CEO will over-promise features we don't have to investors causing engineers to crunch constantly, even working weekends. I'm hearing they have deferred someone's pay and owed them thousands of dollars before.

Nice colleagues, not much else

First review I have ever done for a company I've worked at. And sadly, it's not a good review. I highly suggest anyone looking for a position in the web3 space to look elsewhere. Literally I could write a book or at least a very large laundry list of problems that plague the company, but I don't think that's very constructive. Just know it's a pretty toxic environment and for sanity sake I would stay away
