Pros

Great teammates Flexible working arrangement, soon to change

Cons

The company’s shift towards a corporate model has been a failure, characterized by the adoption of the industry's worst habits. The work environment is plagued by a layer of ineffective and incompetent middle management that stifles productivity. Expectations still sky high without realistic solutions in the resources, burning out the important execs. AI is always used as an empty band aid without solving the core problems. This dysfunction is compounded by a broken promotion system; despite the existence of a formal career ladder, advancements are now awarded based on favoritism rather than actual competence without substantial justification. Merit is ignored. Most alarmingly, the culture has become fundamentally toxic due to repeated waves of mass personnel purging, creating an environment of fear rather than growth.

Pros

-Flexibility. -Opportunities to explore new tools & skillset.

Cons

Accountability vs. Blame: The management culture currently favors "finger-pointing" over problem-solving, creating a reactive rather than proactive environment. Negative Feedback Loops: Team members/cross functional members frequently face internal blame instead of receiving the guidance and resources necessary to succeed. Tools & Process Inconsistency: The absence of standardized tools and documentation across departments has created a chaotic "every man for himself" ecosystem, leading to massive confusion. Communication Silos: Ineffective communication between teams is a major bottleneck that prevents cohesive project execution.

Pros

Lots of ownership and accountability and the room to experiment and fail and learn. Working with incredible colleagues who are all experts in their domain. One of the few companies that actually lives their values day in and day out. Extremely transparent organisation with leadership giving regular business updates. Sensitive information is shared openly with everyone and there is a very high level of trust amongst all the employees. Generous ESOP plan. Great healthcare for the employee. Truly a great place to learn, level up, and get exposure to high calibre C-Suite who work very closely with everyone and are super hands on.

Cons

High work output demand. Expectations are really high - not really a con but only to some. Tight deadlines and there is a lot going on, always. It gets a bit overwhelming at times. This isn't out of the ordinary for a company at the scale up phase. Not a place to coast.
