      Pros

      Remote work. High-quality work laptop is provided.

      Cons

      Zero work/life balance. Overworking "off the clock"/non-billable is encouraged by management and leadership. Zero flexibility. Direct Managers are unavailable, unhelpful and consistently buckle to the unreasonable needs of the clients. Work/project overloads. Low PTO accrual and low-rate health insurance. Long standing flaws in internal processes that have never been addressed or resolved. Clinical Data Managers are executing additional work and taken advantage of by management without receiving a title change or increase in salary.

      We are sorry to hear you did not experience the flexibility SDC offers. SDC is always looking for suggestions, and employees are encouraged to reach out to HR or management at any time. SDC continues to bring on experienced team members and will continue to reward high performance. SDC management does not encourage high hour work weeks by employees. We review this biweekly and continue to find that employees do not work 60 hours per week. SDC takes employee feedback seriously and has recently made several benefit enhancements, and will continue to review and roll out exciting news.

      Great supportive management in IRT. Salary and career advancement opt.

      Cons

      Changing SOPs. That is all I can think of.

      Pros

      I'm not sure where some of these reviews are coming from, but they are either completely glowing or sounding totally off-kilter. What is true is that you can find some really great, kind, and hard working people here. Unfortunately, that is about it. There have been so many problems in Management, that the US company is now a shell of what it used to be. Total functional areas have no US teams. None. Most of the work is now done in India.

      Cons

      Most US employees who have been loyal to the company, some more than a decade, have been laid off. There are probably less than 20 people working in the US, and that number will continue to dwindle. What once used to be a good company, has been mismanaged to a point where a US presence will most likely not exist anymore. This is both sad, and a shame. Employees have treated extremely unfairly, and this review is not unique, and the response from SDC indicating that this review/ experience "is unlike most of their other experiences/ feedback" is not accurate, whatsoever.
