Pros
A big pro of working for this company is definitely meeting and getting to know patients/customers on a personal level and they always want to come back and ask for your service. Also at least half the staff were there for the culture and felt like a genuine organic family. Another pro that I save for last is the perks and free products would be given to us.
Cons
Despite that having great connections and great reviews from consumers and some co-workers, you never truly get the recognition you deserve here. Management at the time were unprofessional and "clique-y" and would congregate with workers below them and give them rewards they never worked hard for. Even having an open door and no judgement space policy there was still retaliation, exclusion, and no true confidentiality. (EX. requesting days off would result in cut hours and/or over-working, scheduled closing and opening the next day without asking). Favoritism was an ongoing obvious issue there as well. Last but not least the products itself would more often than not be expired or just old and dry (said and reviewed by multiple consumers) customer reviews. As a former receptionist that would read and respond to said reviews you can take my word for that. Completely lost their true colors from what it truly started with. "for the culture"
