Pros
Good co-workers in the field, very knowledgeable industry educated. Solid education department with lots of opportunities to learn about the industry and different types of Machinery.
Cons
Stiles is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever worked for. They work the FSR's like dogs, your schedule changes frequently with little notice. You will be traveling every week and expected to work a ton of overtime and fair amount of weekends too. Always seems like chaos and disarray going on. They try to nickel and dime to death on per diem, expecting you to work 12 hours a day to even be eligible for the small amount of $45.00 per day, but if you don't stay in a hotel they cut that in half, if you don't start before 7am they will deduct breakfast money. If you don't work 12 hours a day you don't get anything. The environment is very toxic with poisonous rumors about everyone in the company. The managers make accusations based on rumors without any factual proof to backup their accusations. Jumps to conclusions without getting all sides of story. Management doesn't try to handle issues with customers or employees, just tried to ignore them in hopes the issues will "go away" so they will not have to be bothered, always seemed like tried to let the office people run the department rather then stepping up to the plate and doing it themselves. Management is too busy being worried about their next vacation trip to be bothered with resolving customer or employee issues. They promise unlimited growth during the interview process, but once on board you quickly learn there is very little growth opportunities. Salaries are very low, and you're told of you want to make more money to work more overtime or sell more parts. They place unrealistic sales quotas FSR's then push to sell more parts for commissions, but the quotas are almost impossible to meet because the parts are so overpriced the customers end up buying them somewhere else.
