Pros
-Schedule: I can start/stop whenever I want most days. Most weekends are off allowing me to spend time with my family. -People: Most people I work with are quality, hard-working employees. -Working outside: It's great not being stuck indoors on beautiful, sunny days.
Cons
-Schedule: Working most holidays sucks. I hate missing out on parties while everyone else has off. Weekends are mandatory during busy season. -Career: This is not the job for you if you're career-minded. Yes, it's easy to move up to district manager but beyond that it's a waiting game. Also, a lot of top positions are filled by family or friends of family. This is a small, family-owned business so my advice is to get your experience and try to move on to something else. -Pay: The pay really stinks for the type of work we do. I know they'd pay us more if they could but for most employees it's not worth it. -Working outside: You will work outside in all sorts of inclement weather. Heat, cold, rain, snow, wind... Sometimes I would love to be inside an office all day.
