Pros
The only redeeming feature of working for this company is their remote work policy.
Cons
1. Highly unethical nonprofit practices. Failing to register with government organizations, file forms and then blame a new employee for this when they were the one who discovered the company's mistake. Don't worry, they laid her off to cover up their mistakes. 2. Janice, the CEO, will intentionally try to trip you up during the weekly team meeting and ask you trick questions. 3. You constantly have to walk on eggshells around Management. There have been how many rounds of "restructuring" layoffs this year? You'll end up in one of them. 4. Management has eliminated roles filled by BIPOC employees with no warning and refuses to tackle DEI. 5. You will be overworked and underpaid and now there's a quota for percentage of billable hours. 6. Nonprofit arm doesn't provide any measurable services to the community. Requires membership fees and has sketchy service model.
